About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Care Worker to join our team in the Taree area. As a Care Worker with KinCare, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our customers, providing high-quality care and support in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide domestic assistance, including cleaning and laundry, to ensure our customers' homes are safe and comfortable.
  • Assist with meal preparation and shopping, promoting healthy eating and independence.
  • Offer social support and transport to lifestyle activities, helping our customers stay connected and engaged.
  • Provide personal care, including bathing, dressing, and medication management, to support our customers' physical and emotional well-being.
  • Offer respite and emotional support to our customers and their families, providing a much-needed break and promoting overall well-being.
  • Provide complex care for customers with high care needs, including dementia and other conditions.

Requirements
  • 6 months or more experience in a similar role, including experience with personal care.
  • A current P1 class or above Australian Drivers License and a registered vehicle, with a willingness to travel.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A compassionate and empathetic approach, with a commitment to delivering high-quality care and support.
