Job Title: Healthcare Professional

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate registered nurse to join our team in Alice Springs, Australia. As a valued member of our organization, you will have the opportunity to provide exceptional patient care and work collaboratively with our global network of healthcare professionals.



Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality patient care by applying professional nursing principles, procedures, and techniques.
  • React promptly and effectively in emergency situations.
  • Develop and implement training programs to enhance patient care.
  • Establish strong relationships with patients and colleagues through excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Utilize laboratory procedures and guidelines to collect various samples.
  • Provide routine, urgent, and emergency medical care.
  • Assess and manage patient conditions within the scope of practice.
  • Conduct vital sign checks, perform EKGs, draw blood, and collect urine samples.
  • Manage mail, laboratory reports, and x-ray results efficiently.
  • Maintain clinics in a safe and suitable environment for patient care.
  • Operate sterilization equipment and utility rooms effectively.


Qualifications

Essential Skills and Knowledge:

  • Advanced clinical practice expertise and a patient-centered approach.
  • Excellent communication and empathetic skills.

Required Experience:

  • A minimum of three years of experience as a registered/licensed nurse.

Desired Qualifications:

  • A medical license to practice nursing in Australia is required.
  • A bachelor's degree from an accredited institution is preferred.
  • CPR certification is mandatory.

Physical Demands:

  • The role involves working in a typical interior/office environment.
  • Prolonged periods of sitting and standing are expected.
  • Bending, stooping, and lifting up to 15 lbs may be required.

Special Requirements:

  • Must be a US, UK or Australian citizen.
  • Must be able to relocate to Alice Springs, Australia for the contract duration.
  • A valid passport is necessary and must be kept current during the stay in Australia.
