Senior Exploration Geologist

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Exploration Geologist to lead and drive strategic exploration initiatives. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in gold discovery and project development.

  • This is a challenging role that requires strong geological expertise, leadership skills, and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a dynamic team.
The Role

As a Leader and Statutory Supervisor, you will oversee daily exploration activities and consult with senior staff as needed. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Analyzing geological, geochemical, geophysical, and drilling data to identify new exploration opportunities.
  • Preparing exploration budgets and programs to support management planning.
  • Supervising field teams in drilling, sampling, geochemistry, and reconnaissance programs.
  • Mentoring junior team members to develop their technical expertise.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require a tertiary qualification in Geology and at least 5 years' relevant exploration experience. You must also have a strong understanding of orogenic gold systems, structural geology, and exploration targeting.

In addition to your technical skills, you will need to possess excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
