Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Cyber Infrastructure Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, evaluating, and implementing infrastructure requirements to meet future demand.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement robust and secure network architecture
  • Evaluate and recommend new technologies to improve efficiency and scalability
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of infrastructure solutions
  • Maintain and optimize existing infrastructure to ensure high uptime and performance
  • Develop and maintain system architecture and design documentation
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in the industry

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • At least five (5) years demonstrated experience in design, management, and maintenance of internet gateway and/or large-scale data centre networking environments
  • Demonstrated proficiency in designing services using F5/Blue Coat Layer 4-7 switching/load balancing and proxy systems
  • Experience with network infrastructure design and deployment including Cisco Data Centre technologies (ACI, routers, Nexus switches); routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP)
  • Experience with Palo Alto firewalls and IPS solutions
  • Experience in VPN technologies, email, and DNS solutions
  • Experience in design and integration of hybrid and public cloud services
  • Knowledge of Australian Government information security policies, ASD Information Security Manual, and Essential Eight
