Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced Chief Operating Officer (COO) to join our team. As a key member of the senior leadership group, you will be responsible for driving the operational, financial and fiduciary functions of the family office and its affiliated charitable foundation.
About the Role
The COO will work closely with the CEO and other stakeholders to develop and implement strategic plans that align with the family's vision and goals. You will be responsible for leading cross-functional teams, managing budgets, and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Operational Leadership: Drive day-to-day operational excellence across finance, compliance, service provider management, and reporting.
- Investment Oversight & Governance: Serve as a key liaison between the investment committee and external advisers. Oversee portfolio reporting, cash flow planning, capital calls, and policy implementation.
- Fiduciary & Compliance: Ensure fiduciary, legal, and tax compliance across a sophisticated structure of trusts, companies, and offshore entities.
About You
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Proven Operational & Financial Acumen: 10-20 years' commercial experience, ideally with global exposure.
- Collaborative Leadership Style: Grounded in integrity, humility, and sound judgement.
- Pragmatic Mindset: Comfortable shifting from strategy to execution.
- Strong Understanding: Investment principles and surrounding governance.
