Adelaide Oval Maintenance Tradesperson - Plumbing

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Tradesperson - Plumbing to join our team at the iconic Adelaide Oval.

About the Role:

  • This is a full-time position that requires out-of-hours work, including weekends and Major Event Days.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the building's plumbing, gas systems, and equipment.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  1. Deliver day-to-day plumbing requirements, including supporting minor capital works projects.
  2. Accurately cost and quote jobs within budget requirements.
  3. Monitor and maintain adequate levels of plumbing stock and equipment.
  4. Oversee the testing of all plumbing and gas systems, ensuring relevant records are kept.
  5. Undertake and coordinate relevant testing and maintenance of all plumbing systems.
  6. Ensure all duties are completed in conjunction with timelines set for upcoming events.
  7. Attend to repairs and maintenance of all systems and related equipment.
  8. Perform general and emergency plumbing and gas repairs/maintenance as required.

About You:

  • You hold a Plumbing Trade qualification.
  • You have a minimum of three years' experience, preferably in a multi-site or stadium environment.
  • You have practical experience in contractor management and planned preventative maintenance works.
  • You possess exceptional time management skills and can work to a schedule.
  • You are able to work with minimal supervision while demonstrating drive and initiative.
  • You have effective communication skills and are a team player.
  • You are physically fit and strong.
  • You have a strong work ethic and excellent personal presentation.
  • You maintain a clean workspace upon completion of tasks.
  • You have a strong focus on WHS.
  • You are an excellent problem-solver with the ability to respond quickly to change.
  • You are willing to assist in other areas as required.
