Job Title: Sandwich Artist

This is a role that involves serving and adding value to customer needs in an efficient and friendly manner. The Sandwich Artist will be responsible for promoting Subway brand awareness and ensuring hygiene standards are met.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Food preparation including bread and cookie baking
  • Maintaining cleanliness of food storage and preparation areas according to Health & Safety and Audit standards
  • Compliance with Food Code of Practice
  • Till operations duties
  • Receiving deliveries
  • Completion of daily and weekly cleaning schedules
  • FOLLOWING security & safety procedures
  • Creation of a safe working environment for employees and customers
  • Personal presentation in uniform meeting the Subway brand and customer expectations
  • Working collaboratively as a team member
  • Delivery of high standard service when dealing with products, sales, and catering for customer needs

The Sandwich Artist plays a key role in delivering a high-quality customer experience. Key skills and qualifications required include previous experience in food preparation, retail, and customer service although these are not essential. A positive attitude is crucial in this role.
