Job Description:

As a Mine Geologist, you will be coordinating and managing all geological activities on the mine site for the Technical Services team. Your primary objective is to ensure effective mining of ore occurs, minimizing dilution and maximizing value for the operations.

Responsibilities:
  • Ensuring safety, environmental, and quality compliance
  • Providing support for all geological aspects of planning, production, and reconciliation
  • Accurately entering and collating data
  • Reviewing appropriate ore block designs
  • Monitoring ore extraction process, including ore spotting as required
  • Keeping an eye on short-term blending and stockpiling requirements
  • Creating daily/weekly reports
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Geology
  • Minimum 6 years' experience as a Mine Geologist
  • Great interpersonal skills and ability to manage your time effectively
  • Proficiency in GCX, Excel, and Surpac is desirable
  • Team-focused mindset
  • An ability to think laterally and objectively
  • You have a manual driver's license
  • Current and unrestricted Australian working rights
