Objective: Senior Front-End Developer

We are seeking a skilled professional to lead our front-end development efforts. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with modern web technologies and a proven track record of delivering high-quality solutions.

About the Role
  • Design, develop, and maintain reusable UI components using industry-standard front-end technologies.
  • Become an expert in the Queensland Government Design System (QGDS) and implement it across various projects.
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with enterprise web environments.
  • Develop, test, and deploy websites within Squiz Matrix.
  • Collaborate on UI analysis and design activities such as concept scoping, test strategies, and user acceptance.
  • Provide technical guidance to stakeholders to ensure solutions meet business needs.
Requirements
  • Hands-on experience with Squiz Matrix, Web Components, Design Tokens, Figma, HTML5, CSS/SCSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, JSON.
  • Proven expertise in Agile environments delivering modern web solutions.
  • Strong analysis skills to translate business requirements into scalable UI solutions.
  • Familiarity with project lifecycles including planning, design, testing, and deployment.

  • Languages/Frameworks: HTML5, CSS/SCSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, JSON
  • Frameworks: Angular, React, Vue.js, Next.js
  • CSS Frameworks: Bootstrap 5+
  • Tools: Git, NPM, Gulp, Webpack, Vite, ESBuild, SASS/Less, PostCSS
  • Testing: VITest, Jest, Selenium, Cypress
  • APIs: REST API integration
