As an experienced Occupational Therapist, you will be working in a Community or Aged Care setting, providing care to Australians in the comfort of their homes. This is a permanent part or full-time position that requires travelling to clients located across the central coast region.
The Opportunity
We are seeking an expert in occupational therapy to join our team. As a mobile clinician, you will be providing assessments, equipment prescriptions and home modifications for Home Care Package clients. You will also be focusing on post-orthopaedic surgery through our Rehab in the Home program and supporting clients after hospitalisation through our Hospital in the Home program.
For Residential Aged Care clients, you will:
- Complete comprehensive assessments including initial reviews, post-hospitalisation and falls risk assessments.
- Develop, implement and manage individualised programs including design and facilitation of group programs and individual sessions with residents.
- Prescribe necessary equipment to support client needs.
About this role
This role requires a high level of autonomy, strong communication skills and the ability to work independently. As a new grad or experienced clinician, you will have a minimum 2 years' experience in a Community or Aged Care setting and be willing to grow your skills across both areas.
