We are seeking an experienced Electrical Construction Supervisor to oversee the installation of a Battery Energy Storage System in Western Australia. This role offers a balanced 8/6 roster with Drive-In-Drive-Out (DIDO) flexibility from Perth, providing an ideal work-life balance while working on a transformative energy project.

About the Role

This is a 6-8 month contract with the opportunity to be at the forefront of innovative energy solutions. As an Electrical Project Coordinator, you will lead and supervise all electrical construction activities on the BESS project site, ensuring work is completed efficiently and safely.

  • Manage and coordinate subcontractors, materials, and resources to meet project deadlines and quality standards
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and best practices, fostering a culture of safety and accountability on site
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to address technical challenges and drive project progress
  • Conduct regular inspections, quality checks, and documentation to maintain high standards across all construction activities
  • Review of E&I work packs, ITPs, site walk downs and close out of ITR's and pre-commissioning activities
  • Review of HV Switching programmes and perimetry
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to crew members, promoting teamwork and continuous improvement

You will also manage and coordinate electrical installations, preferably within renewable energy, power generation, or BESS.

Your Skills and Experience

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Qualified Electrical Supervisor with experience in large-scale energy or construction projects
  • Demonstrated experience in electrical installations, preferably within renewable energy, power generation, or BESS
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and guide diverse teams
  • Commitment to safety and quality, with thorough knowledge of industry standards and regulations
