Overview

This role presents a unique chance to contribute to applied research in forestry and forest management technology at the University of the Sunshine Coast.

The position involves collaborative and independent research with real-world impact, mentoring by senior researchers, and collaboration with industry partners across forest supply chains, silviculture, and emerging technologies.

  • Deliver innovative teaching in project management, digital business, and operations management.

Key Responsibilities

As an emerging researcher, you will be responsible for:

  • Designing and conducting rigorous, applied research addressing challenges in forest supply chains and silviculture.
  • Proficiency in advanced research techniques and tools relevant to forestry, such as data analytics and digital forestry technologies.
  • Developing and implementing effective research methodologies.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:
