Job Title: Canteen Service Provider

About the Role:

We are seeking a reliable and friendly individual to join our team as a Canteen Assistant. The successful applicant will be responsible for supporting food preparation, customer service, and maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support with food preparation, including making fresh fruit salad, sandwiches, and salads
  • Provide excellent customer service to students, serving meals and snacks in a timely and efficient manner
  • Restock supplies as required and maintain a clean and organized kitchen area
  • Maintain high standards of food hygiene and safety practices
  • Work effectively as part of a team to deliver fast and efficient service during busy periods

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication skills, be able to work well independently and as part of a team, and have a pride in your personal appearance and hygiene.

Requirements:

  • Australian Citizen or Resident with full work rights
  • Working With Children Check (required)
  • Previous experience assisting in kitchens, food prep, and/or customer service
