About the Position

The HSE Advisor will be responsible for supporting the Thales Protected Vehicles domain and contributing to the development and implementation of HSE programs contained in the site strategy and objectives.

Main Responsibilities
  • Work closely with the HSE Manager to implement the Bendigo site HSE Plan and its associated programs.
  • Investigate accidents, incidents, and hazards on site to identify causes and recommend corrective actions.
  • Manage statistical reporting systems and ensure accurate data entry.
  • Support chemical audits, risk assessments, and the Chemwatch chemical management database.
  • Collaborate with HSRs and Managers to implement the Risk Assessment and Hazard Management program.
  • Conduct random workplace inspections and monitor corrective actions.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Degree or Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety or Environment.
  • Proven experience in a similar HSE role, interacting with various stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of production/construction and/or manufacturing environments.
  • Able to work independently and lead teams.
  • Microsoft Office proficiency.
