Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for conducting preventative maintenance tasks, inspections, corrective and breakdown maintenance on automated machines at our manufacturing facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conducting preventative maintenance tasks, inspections, and corrective actions on automated machines.
  • Overhauling and maintaining filling machines and packaging machines.
  • Performing TIG stainless steel welding and Lathe and Milling machine work.
  • Working with Microsoft software packages and Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
  • Supporting manufacturing operations on a shift roster.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Certificate 3 Mechanical Engineering trade or Indentured Certificate as a Fitter & Turner.
  • Proven experience in the maintenance and operation of automated filling and packaging equipment.
  • Expertise in fault diagnosis and corrective action.
  • Experience within a regulated environment in the Pharmaceutical or food manufacturing industry.
  • An understanding of aseptic techniques and work traceability standards.
