Job Overview:

This key role seeks an experienced Talent Acquisition professional to spearhead end-to-end recruitment, onboarding, and succession strategies.

As a senior member of our team, you will partner with leaders to align recruitment efforts with organisational objectives, coach and upskill the People & Culture team, and oversee talent acquisition processes from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Workforce Planning: Collaborate with senior stakeholders to design and implement culturally aligned workforce strategies that meet business needs
  • Coaching and Development: Provide guidance and support to the People & Culture team to enhance their skills and knowledge in talent acquisition and management
  • Talent Acquisition: Oversee all aspects of recruitment, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding of new staff members
  • Succession Planning: Develop and implement effective succession plans to ensure continuity and growth within the organisation

Requirements include:

  • Experience: Proven track record of running successful recruitment, onboarding, and succession processes in a similar context
  • Design and Implementation: Ability to design and implement people-focused recruitment processes that attract top talent
  • Aboriginal Community Context: Understanding of Aboriginal Community Control and Yolngu community contexts
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in using MS Office, recruitment platforms, and other sourcing tools
