Swimming Instructor Role

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic swimming instructor to teach children of all ages and skill levels.

  • Teach swimming lessons to children, following our structured curriculum.
  • Create a positive and engaging learning environment that encourages children to enjoy and improve their swimming skills.
  • Monitor and assess the progress of each student, providing feedback and encouragement.
  • Ensure a high standard of safety and supervision during lessons.
  • Maintain strong communication with parents regarding their child's progress.
  • Be a positive role model and support the overall mission of our organisation.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Previous experience in teaching swimming (preferably in a learn-to-swim or kids' swimming environment).
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to engage with children.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • CPR certificates (or willingness to obtain).
  • Working With Children Check (WWCC).
  • Austswim Teacher of swimming and water safety or similar qualification (or willingness to obtain).
  • A passion for swimming and helping children succeed.
  • Availability to work afternoons Monday to Friday, and daytime during school terms.
