About the Role

Kieser Australia is a network of integrated Physiotherapy, Rehabilitation, and Strength & Conditioning Clinics.

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Exercise Scientist to join our team in Brighton.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a passionate team of professionals who are committed to providing the highest standard of care using science and evidence-based methods to achieve the best outcome.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Education and Supervision

Actively engage on the training floor by conducting 1:1 and group sessions, strength assessments, and movement analysis with clients.

Scientific Application and Evidence-Based Practices

Apply scientific concepts (biomechanics, physiology, sports psychology, motor control) and evidence-based practices to support clients.

Health and Fitness Advice

Provide evidence-based advice on health, fitness, well-being, and physical performance.

Exercise Prescription and Planning

Develop and implement exercise prescriptions and plans for clients.

Goal Setting and Achievement

Establish, assess, and reassess goals for new and long-term clients.

Peak Performance and Injury Recovery

Guide athletes or clients with fitness goals to achieve peak performance and recover from injury.

Administrative Duties

Complete a range of administrative duties.

Quality Service Delivery

Consistently deliver high-quality service in accordance with Kieser standards.

Requirements
  • Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Exercise and Sport Science or a related field.

Working Rights

Valid working rights in Australia.

Certifications

First Aid & CPR Certification.

Working with Children Check

Working with Children Check.

National Police Check

National Police Check.

Desirable Qualifications
  • Experience

Minimum 2-3 years relevant work experience.

Private Practice Experience

Previous private practice experience.

Long-Term Client Management

Previous experience with long-term management of client outcomes in a strength training environment.
