Process Control Specialist Role

We are seeking a skilled Process Control Specialist to join our site-based teams in the Midwest area of WA. This is a residential role based in Geraldton, WA, with relocation support available for the successful candidate.

Job Overview
  • Provide technical support for plant process control systems and network infrastructure at operational sites
  • Perform programming and configuration changes for PLC, DCS, and SCADA systems to support upgrades and operational improvements
  • Troubleshoot control systems to minimize downtime and maintain plant integrity, contributing to continuous improvement of automation/control systems
  • Ensure the safe and compliant operation of plant equipment and systems

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a leading resource company during an exciting growth phase. Our client offers a family-friendly 5/2 roster based in Geraldton or relocation assistance for interstate candidates.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Qualifications in engineering, computing, or electrical trades
  • Experience in industrial or mining environments
  • Strong knowledge of networking, virtualized server systems, operating systems, and workstation management
  • Proficiency in SCADA configuration/development, PLC and DCS programming, and fault diagnosis
  • Preferred: Restricted Electrical Workers' Licence and/or Certificate IV in Electrical Instrumentation
