Job Summary

Bradman Carbon and Renewable Energy is seeking an experienced Trading Manager to lead the establishment of our energy trading desk. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for setting up the trading desk capabilities and related compliance management in accordance with our approved strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish a trading team and develop a comprehensive trading strategy to drive business growth;
  • Develop and implement market reports and tools to inform trading and investment decisions;
  • Analyze energy market data to deliver insights to our internal teams;
  • Utilize data-driven models to forecast energy trends and inform business decisions;
  • Collaborate with our development team to ensure seamless integration of trading capabilities with our existing systems;
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and regulatory changes to ensure compliance and optimal business performance.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in trading and management, with a strong understanding of wholesale and retail electricity markets;
  • Expertise in bidding strategy, compliance management, and Power Purchase Agreements;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and drive business insights;
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team;
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing business needs.
