Woodworking Expertise Required

We seek an experienced woodworker to join our team and contribute their skills in crafting, shaping, and assembling wooden structures.

  • Develop and interpret detailed drawings to determine material requirements.
  • Source high-quality materials from suppliers.
  • Install external cladding, weatherboards, and other exterior finishes.
  • Cut, shape, and smooth materials according to precise measurements.
  • Design and construct decks, stairs, pergolas, feature walls, and outdoor wooden features.
  • Ensure the accuracy of structures using precision leveling tools.
  • Assemble and install equipment, cabinets, shelves, and fixtures.
  • Shape irregular parts and trim excess materials to meet specifications.
  • Carry out carpentry maintenance work under warranty, identifying defects or damaged areas and performing repairs as needed.
  • Collaborate with sub-contractors and ensure compliance with OH&S regulations.
  • Provide guidance and supervision to junior staff members.

Key Qualifications:

  • Hold a Certificate III in Carpentry or equivalent qualification.
  • Minimum two years' experience in the trade.
  • Demonstrate attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Effective problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
  • Computer skills advantageous for efficient task management.
