About the Role

The Aviation Equipment Maintenance Specialist is a critical position within our organization, responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of Ground Support Equipment (GSE) and Support and Test Equipment (S&TE). This role involves planning and implementing maintenance schedules to meet aircraft maintenance requirements, maintaining accurate records, and coordinating with vendors to provide timely and effective services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement GSE and S&TE maintenance and calibration schedules to ensure equipment availability.
  • Maintain and update Airbus GSE and S&TE records, providing status reports as required.
  • Conduct periodic stocktakes of GSE and S&TE.
  • Coordinate scheduled maintenance, procurement, and disposal of GSE and S&TE as needed.
  • Foster effective vendor relationships to ensure timely provision of maintenance and calibration services.
  • Ccoordinate on-site vendor access to support C-J maintenance activities.
  • Ccoordinate waste management efforts.
About You

To succeed in this role, you will be a team player with excellent relationship-building skills, good verbal and written communication abilities, and the capacity to work under pressure. Relevant experience in aviation maintenance, combined with technical knowledge and problem-solving skills, will serve you well in this position.

Requirements
  • A Class 'C' Open Driver's License.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft tools, including Access and spreadsheets, with the ability to create technical reports.
  • An understanding of technical compliance requirements in the aviation maintenance environment.
  • The ability to interpret and apply relevant regulations and standards.
  • Demonstrated commitment to safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.
