About the Role:

This is a fantastic opportunity to share your knowledge and experience in Engineering Technology, teaching and assessing students across various programs in the Business, Advanced Manufacturing and Logistics Department. As a dedicated teacher, you will plan, develop, deliver, and assess units, ensuring high-quality learning experiences for our students.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Plan and develop curriculum materials for Engineering Technology programs, including unit outlines, lesson plans, and assessment tools.
  2. Deliver high-quality lectures, tutorials, and workshops, utilizing engaging teaching methods to cater to diverse student needs.
  3. Evaluate student progress and provide constructive feedback, ensuring students meet competency standards.
  4. Collaborate with Program Leads, Lead Teachers, and other staff members to establish a cohesive departmental approach.
  5. Maintain accurate records and administrative tasks related to program development and delivery.

Requirements:

  • A degree or diploma relevant to Engineering Technology, along with industry experience in the field.
  • TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in vocational education and training, preferably in Engineering Technology.
  • Demonstrated ability to teach Engineering Technology programs and possess excellent communication skills.
