Job Description

We are seeking an experienced electrical professional to provide technical expertise and support for field-based projects and operations.

The ideal candidate will work with senior engineers to design, develop, test, and optimize systems and processes, collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate fixes and improvements into production software and hardware, and provide timely technical support to customers to maximise system availability and performance.

  • Provide expert advice on electrical systems requiring technical approval.
  • Deliver AOG and troubleshooting support and provide continuous training to maintenance personnel when requested.
  • Support aircraft maintenance and provisioning activities and help resolve parts shortages.
  • Assist in reducing nil fault found occurrences and in drafting procedures and technical instructions.

The successful candidate will have extensive experience in troubleshooting relevant flight-line or aviation systems, multiple years of aviation maintenance or certifying staff experience, strong knowledge of regulations and project management qualifications, and ability to teach and mentor others and communicate effectively within a multi-disciplinary team.

This is a critical role that requires a high level of technical expertise and communication skills. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert advice on electrical systems, delivering technical support to customers, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate fixes and improvements into production software and hardware.

The ideal candidate will be an Australian citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain an AGSVA security clearance at NV1 and ASIC requirements.
