Livestock Handler

In this role, you will be responsible for performing various tasks within the meat processing facility, including but not limited to:

• Ensuring livestock are handled in accordance with current Australian Animal Welfare Standards
• Assisting with the sorting, moving, and drafting of stock
• Feeding livestock and maintaining their health and nutrition
• Operating general machinery and equipment
• Participating in general farm tasks such as fencing, weed spraying, and livestock receivals

Key Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be required to:

• Work collaboratively with the production team to ensure efficient and safe livestock handling practices
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and stakeholders
• Contribute to the development and implementation of animal welfare and health programs
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge

• Basic computer skills and experience with livestock handling
