Job Title: Senior Technical Lead

About the Position:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Technical Lead to oversee and drive the development of our engineering team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and technical excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor a high-performing engineering team, promoting a culture of ownership, collaboration, and technical excellence.
  • Design and implement scalable backend solutions that track content usage effectively and power incentive systems aligned with our broader content strategy.
  • Collaborate closely with product, design, and data teams to define and deliver impactful features that meet business and user needs.
  • Ensure best practices in engineering, including code quality, testing, performance optimization, security, and operational excellence.

About You:

To succeed in this role, you should possess strong leadership and coaching skills, with the ability to engage and motivate a diverse team of engineers. Proven experience leading engineering teams, fostering collaboration, and driving high performance is essential.

You should have a strong understanding of modern frontend frameworks, UI/UX principles, and accessibility best practices. Experience in backend development using cloud services (AWS, GCP, or equivalent) to support frontend experiences is also required.

Requirements:

  • Strong leadership and coaching skills, with the ability to engage and motivate a diverse team.
  • Proven experience leading engineering teams, fostering collaboration, and driving high performance.
  • Experience in building scalable, high-performance web applications, using React, TypeScript, or similar technologies.
  • Strong understanding of modern frontend frameworks, UI/UX principles, and accessibility best practices.
  • Experience in backend development using cloud services (AWS, GCP, or equivalent).
