Job Overview:

This is a casual Registered Nurse position with IV Cannulation experience required. You will be responsible for collecting medication from a nominated pharmacy and transporting it to patients' homes for fortnightly-monthly infusions. This role requires excellent communication and cannulation skills, as well as a commitment to providing patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer medication to patients in their homes
  • Collect medication from nominated pharmacy
  • Transport medication to patients' homes
  • Provide patient-centered care and support
  • Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare team

Requirements:

  • Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse
  • Experience inserting peripheral Cannulas
  • Current CPR Certificate
  • Immunization record - COVID vaccination mandatory
  • Demonstrated commitment to providing high-quality, safe, and effective nursing care
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
