Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Occupational Therapist to join our team. As an Occupational Therapist at BePositive Therapy, you will work with clients in their homes or other community environments, conducting assessments, designing and implementing therapy plans, and providing support and guidance to help clients achieve their goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' needs and develop personalized therapy plans to address their goals and objectives.
  • Design and implement therapy programs to promote clients' independence, mobility, and overall well-being.
  • Provide ongoing support and guidance to clients and their families to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care.
  • Participate in regular team meetings and case conferences to share knowledge and best practices.

Requirements

  • Current AHPRA registration (or awaiting registration for new graduate OT's)
  • Registration as an Occupational Therapist (early Career or experienced)
  • Strong evidence of well-developed communication skills
  • An ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
  • Well-developed time management and organisational skills
  • A desire to learn and commit to regular continuing professional development
  • A commitment to engagement in quality improvement activities
