Job Summary:
The Tasmanian Catholic Education Office is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to fill the role of Director of Pastoral Care. This is a significant position within the organization, responsible for overseeing the pastoral and specialist programs that contribute to the overall College experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and implementation of pastoral care programs that promote student wellbeing and academic success.
- Collaborate with the School Leadership team and Pastoral Care team to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning environment.
- Develop and maintain relationships with students, parents, and staff to promote a culture of respect and inclusivity.
- Provide guidance and support to students who require additional assistance with their academic or personal development.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures that promote student safety and wellbeing.
Requirements:
- Registration as a Teacher with the Teachers Registration Board.
- Relevant qualifications and experience in education and pastoral care.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Commitment to the values and mission of the Tasmanian Catholic Education Office.
