The Practice

We have 6 consulting rooms, a dedicated team of 2.5 full-time doctors, and a balanced mix of female to male GPs (2:1). Our practice is located in a Rural, Remote, and Metropolitan Area (RRMA) and has Distribution Priority Areas (DPA) status and Modified Monash Model (MMM) 5.

Support and Resources

We offer a range of support and resources, including two part-time practice nurses and a full-time Chronic Disease Nurse, on-site services such as pathology, dietitian consultations, hearing services, and support from the Royal Flying Doctor. Our practice is also certified by General Practice Training Tasmania to train and supervise GPT3 Registrars.

Huonville is a picturesque town located alongside the Huon River in the south-east of Tasmania.
