Job Opportunity: Facilities Management Specialist

This role presents a unique chance to work in corporate facilities management within Adelaide's CBD, with flexible working hours from 9am - 12pm, Monday to Friday.

  • Liaising with leaders and staff, building management, and external service providers to ensure a safe and well-maintained office environment is key.
  • Actioning timely, effective, and cost-efficient resolutions of facilities issues, requests, or hazards identified is crucial.
  • Maintaining a register of local contractors and suppliers is essential for efficient operations.
  • Managing the coordination of scheduled maintenance and servicing of equipment ensures optimal performance.
  • Monitoring cleaning, secure destruction, and waste management undertaken by cleaners, suppliers, and building management is vital.
  • Monitoring staff amenities, including kitchens, fridges, dishwashers, and first aid supplies, promotes a healthy workplace environment.
  • Managing Chatswood security access pass and locker allocations ensures streamlined access control.
About You:
  • Experience in facilities support or office management is required.
  • A basic understanding of workplace health and safety principles, hazards, and preventative measures is necessary.
  • Sound communication skills, with the ability to relay accurate and concise information, are essential.
  • Strong planning and problem resolution abilities, along with adaptability to effectively deal with change, are critical.
  • Highly developed customer service and written communication skills are also necessary.
