Job Opportunity: Video Editor

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Video Editor to bring footage to life by crafting compelling stories that reflect clients' visions.

You will work closely with producers and under the guidance of the Production Manager to edit, color grade, sound mix, and incorporate motion graphics.

This role requires creativity, technical skill, and attention to detail. You will work with a variety of elements including footage from our crew, music, sound effects, stock footage, and graphics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Edit and Post-Production: Collaborate with producers to create visually appealing and engaging content.
  • Creative Asset Incorporation: Integrate a wide range of creative assets to enhance the storytelling experience.
  • Idea Generation: Suggest fresh ideas to keep edits engaging and capture audiences' attention.
  • Feedback and Improvement: Apply feedback to your own and others' work to grow and improve.
  • Time Management and Communication: Manage timelines and communicate proactively to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Problem-Solving: Proactive problem-solver with the ability to troubleshoot technical issues efficiently.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in Adobe Premiere and Adobe After Effects: Skilled in using these industry-standard tools for video editing and post-production.
  • Sound Mixing and Color Grading: Proficient in sound mixing and color grading in Premiere, with experience in DaVinci Resolve being a plus.
  • Time Management and Organizational Skills: Strong time management and organizational skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Attention to Detail: High attention to detail with a keen eye for visual storytelling and error-free deliverables.
