Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Chief Financial Analyst to lead operational forecasts and budget processes for our ASX mining company in the Goldfields.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Developing financial reports to enhance operational knowledge and business value;
- Maintaining accurate cost performance analysis against forecast/budget;
- Facilitating monthly cost review meetings with Department Managers;
- Assisting budget holders with variance analysis for operational and capital expenditure;
- Balancing sheet reconciliations;
- Audit and capital reporting;
- Gold shipments management;
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Tertiary qualification in accounting, preferably with CIMA/CPA or professional accounting membership;
- 4+ years of accounting and reporting experience within the mining & resources industry;
- ERP systems experience, Excel and knowledge of data modelling (ideally PRONTO Xi);
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written;
- Australian citizenship/Australian permanent residency/New Zealand citizenship;
- Located in the Goldfields (desired);
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical;
- National police clearance;
