Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Chief Financial Analyst to lead operational forecasts and budget processes for our ASX mining company in the Goldfields.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing financial reports to enhance operational knowledge and business value;
  • Maintaining accurate cost performance analysis against forecast/budget;
  • Facilitating monthly cost review meetings with Department Managers;
  • Assisting budget holders with variance analysis for operational and capital expenditure;
  • Balancing sheet reconciliations;
  • Audit and capital reporting;
  • Gold shipments management;

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Tertiary qualification in accounting, preferably with CIMA/CPA or professional accounting membership;
  • 4+ years of accounting and reporting experience within the mining & resources industry;
  • ERP systems experience, Excel and knowledge of data modelling (ideally PRONTO Xi);
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written;
  • Australian citizenship/Australian permanent residency/New Zealand citizenship;
  • Located in the Goldfields (desired);
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment medical;
  • National police clearance;
