Job Title: Electrical Tradesperson

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Electrician to join our team at HN Recruitment Pty Ltd. As an Electrical Tradesperson, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting electrical systems and components.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install and inspect electrical systems and components, including wiring, switchgear, motors, lighting, and control panels.
  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for electrical equipment.
  • Work autonomously, being reliable and positively contributing to our maintenance team.
  • Identify and troubleshoot electrical issues and faults in a timely manner.
  • Conduct overhauls and refurbishments of electrical equipment when necessary.
  • Conduct insulation resistance tests, continuity tests, and other electrical measurements.
  • Participate in project Risk Assessments and Hazops.

Requirements:

  • Trade Qualification Certificate III in Electrical Technology (QLD Electrical Licence Essential)
  • Proven history of fault finding and repairs on various electrical equipment.
  • Ability to satisfactorily meet expectations for pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol screening.

Desirable:

  • Confined Space Entry & Working at Heights (Desirable)
