Job Description

This is a permanent part-time position that requires working 3 days a week, with one day dedicated to attending Kurri Kurri TAFE. The role involves obtaining a Certificate II or III in Animal Care Services.

As a trainee, you will be responsible for assisting the head groomer, learning and performing bathing procedures, dog grooming procedures, customer service tasks, daily cleaning tasks, and ensuring the health and safety of dogs in care.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Assisting the head groomer
  • Learner's permit to perform bathing procedures
  • Basic knowledge of dog grooming procedures
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
