Job Opportunity: Asphalt Field Technician

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Asphalt Field Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting a wide range of testing for construction materials such as asphalt and aggregates.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct coring of asphalt, sand patch testing, and straight edge testing
  • Assist with aggregate sampling from quarries when needed
  • Carry out equipment calibrations
  • Setting up and maintaining of equipment
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proven success in a technical or laboratory environment
  • Ability to work flexible hours including night shift and weekends as required
  • Ability to work under pressure and problem solve
  • Certificate IV in Laboratory Techniques preferred, but not essential
