Required Skills & Qualifications- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in software development
- 5 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages, and with data structures/algorithms
- 3 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products, and 1 year of experience with software design and architecture
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Experience with technical leadership
- Preferred qualifications include 5 years of experience with Kotlin/Java
- Design and implement new features for Google Photos
- Work with other engineers to define and improve the Google Photos Android architecture
- Mentor and lead junior engineers on the team
