Job Summary

This is an exciting opportunity for a Disability Support Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supporting people with disability and their families to access and benefit from the NDIS.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist people with disability and their families to prepare and benefit from the NDIS, including developing and implementing individualized plans.
  • Work collaboratively with stakeholders to identify and address barriers to access and inclusion.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with community groups, mainstream agencies, and businesses to ensure successful project delivery.

About You:

  • You will have demonstrated relevant experience and/or lived experience with people with disability or First Nations or CaLD or LGBTIQA+.
  • You will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • You will be able to demonstrate a commitment to promoting social participation and inclusion for people with disability.
