Job Title: Volunteer Coordinator
">We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Volunteer Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating, recruiting, training, supporting, and retaining volunteers to assist consumers in participating in everyday activities.
">About the Role:
">You will lead the implementation of processes for engaging volunteers, participants, and carers in the ongoing development, review, and evaluation of activities. You will also oversee capacity building and social inclusion activities for participants.
">Responsibilities:
">- Coordinate volunteer recruitment, training, and support initiatives">
- Develop and implement strategies to retain volunteers and improve their experience">
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure effective communication and coordination">
- Lead the development of programs and activities that cater to diverse needs and preferences">
- Oversee capacity building and social inclusion activities for participants">
Requirements:
">To be successful in this role, you will need:
">- A tertiary qualification in Disability, Social Work, Community Services, or a related field">
- Experience working with vulnerable people">
- Current valid Victorian driver's license">
- Current first aid and CPR certificates">
- Previous experience in volunteer coordination and support roles">
- Proven ability to effectively engage and collaborate with a volunteer workforce">
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to form effective working relationships">
