We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team and contribute to the success of our organization.

This site-based role involves integrated risk and safety management, ensuring operations achieve Low-Risk outcomes for people, planet, and process. You will support the physical and psychological safety of employees through risk assessments, critical control tools, incident investigations, and plan development.

The role requires you to work at two different operations across Australia throughout the program.

About the Role

We offer a dynamic and challenging environment where you can develop your skills and knowledge in risk management and safety.

You will have the opportunity to rotate across our open pit and underground operations, gaining a broad range of experience and expertise.

Your primary focus will be on identifying and mitigating risks associated with our operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Risk assessments and critical control tools
  • Incident investigations and root cause analysis
  • Plan development and implementation
  • Collaboration with cross-functional teams
  • Providing expert advice and guidance

You will be supported by experienced professionals who share your passion for delivering safe and sustainable outcomes.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Experience with data management and GIS software
  • A manual driver's license

Prerequisites include a Bachelor of Risk, Engineering, OHS or other similar degree completed within the last 3 years.
