About the Employment Program

The employment program is a work-based training initiative that empowers people with disabilities to build their capabilities and prepare for award wage employment.

As an employment mentor, you will support individuals with disabilities to successfully undertake a work-based training program that provides a pathway to prepare for award wage employment.

This role offers participants the opportunity to gain valuable work experience and develop skills in a supportive environment before transitioning to open employment.

We are seeking professionals who can build strong relationships with trainees based on mutual respect, enabling and empowering individuals with disabilities to reach their employment goals and feel confident in the workplace.

This position is part of a team focused on providing Auslan support to hearing impaired participants.
