About SCM Analyst Role

This position involves capturing end-to-end analysis of future demand and performance analytics on spare parts, including spares forecasting and data gathering. The successful candidate will work with the Australian Commonwealth, responsible for analysing demand and making recommendations for optimal requirements.

  • Lead analysis for spares forecasting and data gathering to support recommendations for optimal requirements and needs of the CoA with demand.
  • Support CoA with spares analysis and modelling.
  • Conduct investigations including cost/benefit analysis in collaboration with CoA, working towards Lead Time Away's (LTA's).

Key responsibilities include:

  • Research and gather rationale for procurement demand from GDLS Business Units and the Commonwealth.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential for this role.
  • Prioritise workload and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Prepare and present analysis/presentations to GDLS Leadership and Commonwealth, rationalising direction of procurement demand.
