Job Overview

We are seeking eligible psychologists to join our pool of talented professionals who support student achievement, engagement, and wellbeing across the state.

School psychologists work closely with students, teachers, parents, and the community to create a positive and supportive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support student mental health and wellbeing through individual and group interventions
  • Collaborate with teachers and other school staff to develop and implement behavior support plans
  • Provide consultation and training to teachers on mental health and wellbeing topics
  • Work with parents and carers to address student concerns and develop strategies for supporting student learning
Salary and Benefits

The salary range for this position is $83,312 to $134,404 per annum, plus attractive benefits including:

  • Psychology Board of Australia approved supervision for registration purposes
  • Opportunities for professional development and career advancement
  • 5% employer contributions to superannuation
  • 8 weeks' vacation leave (during school holidays)
  • More than 20 days of other leave, including sick leave and carers' leave
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Master of Professional Psychology or higher degree qualification
  • Provisional or general registration with the Psychology Board of Australia
  • A valid Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check
