Certificate III in Carpentry is an exciting opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in the construction industry.

As a carpentry apprentice, you will be working on various tasks that require attention to detail, manual dexterity, and strong communication skills. You will use hand tools and power tools, comply with local building codes, and work safely to achieve quality results.

Our Host Employer is a family-owned business operating predominantly in inner city suburbs. You will have the chance to work on different projects, honing your skills and gaining valuable experience in the industry.

During your apprenticeship, you will receive ongoing support from our team to help you achieve your career goals. We will provide you with the necessary resources and guidance to ensure your success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Use hand tools, e.g. hammers, chisels, hand saws, screwdrivers, measuring tapes, and levelling devices.
  • Use power tools, e.g. electric/battery drills, power saws, routers, sanders, planners, laser levelling devices, and nail guns.
  • Comply with local building codes and work health and safety regulations.
  • Use mathematical skills to take measurements, calculate areas, and quantities.

Requirements:
