Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled and reliable owner-driver to join our team of contractors for courier work. As an independent contractor, you will have the flexibility to choose your own hours and work at your own pace.

About the Role

This is a casual, freelance position that involves delivering large bulky items, such as furniture, appliances, and building materials. You will need to have manual handling skills and be able to use trolleys and unloading equipment to load and unload these items.

Key Responsibilities

  • Loading and unloading items from vehicles
  • Delivering items to customers in a timely and efficient manner
  • Maintaining a clean and safe working environment

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A current Australian driver's licence
  • A registered ABN and GST number
  • Goods in Transit and Personal Liability Insurance
  • A smartphone and car phone holder
  • A trolley, tarps, blankets, and load restraints
  • Fitness to drive medical certification
  • PPE (Personal Protective Equipment)
