Job Title: Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nurse Practitioner to join our team at the Australian National University (ANU) Medical Centre. As a key member of our health services team, you will provide high-quality clinical care to students and staff, with a focus on sexual health and women's health.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced Nurse Practitioner to contribute to the provision of primary health care services at the ANU. You will work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to deliver quality care, and have the opportunity to develop your skills and expertise in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality clinical care to students and staff, with a focus on sexual health and women's health
  • Work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to deliver quality care
  • Develop and implement clinical guidelines and protocols to ensure best practice
  • Contribute to the development and delivery of health education programs for students and staff
Requirements
  • Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and endorsement by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as a Nurse Practitioner
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and in the absence of a Medical Practitioner to provide quality care
  • Demonstrated advanced clinical skills, competence and leadership in the assessment, treatment and management of clients presenting to the service for a number of health presentations
