Job Title: AWS Solution Designer with DevSecOps

Talent Web is seeking a highly skilled AWS Solution Designer with DevSecOps expertise to join our team in North Sydney. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for designing and implementing secure, reliable, and scalable systems on the AWS cloud platform.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain system architecture designs and documentation, ensuring alignment with business goals and technical requirements.
  • Design and implement solutions on the AWS platform that are scalable, reliable, and secure, with a focus on infrastructure automation and integrating security into all phases of the software development lifecycle.
  • Work with development teams to ensure that solutions are designed with security in mind, and that best practices are followed.
  • Develop and maintain security controls, including vulnerability management, access controls, and intrusion detection.
  • Conduct security testing and assessments, including penetration testing, code reviews, and vulnerability scanning.
  • Collaborate with operations teams to ensure that solutions are designed with operational excellence in mind, including monitoring, logging, and automation.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to development and operations teams, and ensure that technical best practices are followed.
  • Participate in incident response and lead investigations into security incidents.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
  • Extensive experience in AWS solutions architecture, infrastructure automation, or information security.
  • Strong experience in AWS services, including EC2, S3, RDS, and Lambda.
  • Effective experience in infrastructure automation using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, and AWS CloudFormation.
  • Experience in information security, including vulnerability management, access controls, and intrusion detection.
  • Strong experience in security testing and assessments, including penetration testing, code reviews, and vulnerability scanning.
  • Knowledge of industry-standard security frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, and OWASP.
  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate or Professional.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, able to work effectively with development and security teams.
  • Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, OSCP, and/or Azure Certified Solutions Architect are a plus.
