About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Sample Preparation Specialist to join our team at ALS. As a Sample Preparation Specialist, you will play a critical role in supporting our laboratory operations by preparing and processing geological samples for analysis.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain sample preparation equipment, including crushers, pulverizers, and splitters
  • Perform routine manual tasks, including lifting and handling samples
  • Sort and label samples accurately and efficiently
  • Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as required
  • Work collaboratively with the laboratory team to achieve daily production targets
Requirements
  • Ability to work rotating shifts, including day, afternoon, and night shifts
  • Ability to follow established procedures and protocols
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
