Job Title: Technical Writer

We are seeking an experienced technical writer to join our high-impact program. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating high-quality documentation that supports product release, sustainment, and compliance.

  • The ideal candidate will have strong procedural and technical writing skills, excellent communication and self-management abilities, as well as SAFe certification or a willingness to obtain it.
  • They must also hold NV1 security clearance and be a citizen of Australia.

About the Role:

This is a key role within our organization where you will be working closely with engineering, ILS, and project teams to develop documentation that meets Australian and international standards.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Create functional specs, design docs, SOPs, manuals, compliance docs, and other technical artefacts.
  • Translate complex systems into clear documentation for varied audiences.
  • Manage version control and document updates.

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of experience in technical writing or a related field.
  • Strong procedural and technical writing skills.
  • Excellent communication and self-management abilities.
  • SAFe certification or willingness to obtain.
  • NV1 security clearance (Australian citizenship required).

Bonus Requirements:

  • Project management experience (Agile, PRINCE2, PMBOK).
  • ICT project delivery, ILS, or T&E/V&V knowledge.
