About the Role

As a Project Controls Manager at Ausenco, you will be responsible for analysing project cost performance, tracking expenditures, and forecasting future costs to support budget management and financial planning.

You will mentor and support junior project controls staff, fostering their professional development and ensuring consistency and accuracy in project controls practices.

Monitoring project progress, identifying potential risks and delays, and proposing mitigation strategies to maintain project momentum are key aspects of this role.

Cordination with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to gather relevant data and inputs for project controls activities is essential.

You will prepare regular reports and presentations on project performance, providing insights and recommendations to project teams and clients.

About You

To succeed in this position, you will need:

  • A degree in engineering, project management, business administration, or a related field;
  • Proven experience in a similar position within project controls, preferably in the mining & minerals industry or related sectors.
  • Proficiency in project management software such as Oracle, Ecosys, Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or equivalent.
  • Advanced data analysis and reporting skills, with expertise in applications such as Power Pivot and Power BI.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Proven leadership experience, with the ability to motivate and guide team members toward common goals.
